A good water loss reducer DCC should meet the following conditions: 1) it has no adverse effect on the fluidity, compressive strength and setting time of cement slurry; 2) can adapt to different types and densities of cement slurry; 3) easy to use, low cost (due to the large amount of water loss additive). (1) the admixture originally used for reducing filtration loss of particulate materials is bentonite, which enters into the filter cake with its tiny particles and is embedded between the cement particles to make the filter cake compact in structure and reduce the permeability of mud cake, thus reducing the water loss of cement slurry. For example, 5%~8% high-quality clay can reduce the water loss of cement to 300~400ml/30min. Bitumen, CaCO3 powder, microsilicon, quartz powder, volcanic ash, flying dust, diatomite, barium sulfate fine powder, talcum powder, thermoplastic resin, etc. can be used as water loss agent.
In addition, latex cement also has a very good filter loss performance. Latex is a kind of emulsion polymer, which is a suspension system formed by small polymer particles with a diameter of 200~500 m in the emulsion. Most latex systems contain about 50 percent (mass fraction) of the solid phase, and like bentonite, latex particles can form bridging particles and physical blockages in the crevasses of the cement cake.
Oil well cement poly 2 vinyl chloride is the most commonly used rubber latex and polyvinyl acetate system, but is limited to 50 ℃ below. The copolymer of styrene - diene rubber latex system has been used in well cementing operation under the condition of 176 ℃. The latex system not only has good filtration loss performance, but also can improve the performance of cement and strengthen the ability of anti-seismic and anti-corrosion. The dosage is about 1%~5%.
